CARLA KIHLSTEDT has written songs of all sorts – some with words and some without. Projects, past and present, include Rabbit Rabbit, Tin Hat, 2 Foot Yard, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Causing a Tiger, The Book of Knots, Fred Frith’s Cosa Brava, Minamo, and Necessary Monsters. She’s written for the San Francisco Girls Chorus, The International Contemporary Ensemble, The ROVA Saxophone Quartet and The Bang On A Can All-Stars. She’s made music for lots of dancers, including Jo Kreiter’s Flyaway Productions, Joe Good Performance Group, inkBoat.
